If you send it back after contacting the shop I am sure they'd be happy to sharpen it for you...As others have already stated, you should probably learn to sharpen it yourself as it will come up in the future - no knife will keep an edge for ever. In fact, the sharper it is, the quicker it is likely to dull given edge geometry and such. Yes its nearly a $200 knife but everyone knew that going in. It is Infi and ScrapYard and will last a long, long time. Sure a $15 knife will work but I would ask why did you buy a $200 knife if you already felt you had a $15 one that was everything you needed it to be? When it comes down to knife toughness and strength, you would be hard pressed to find a $15 knife (or a knife at any price) that can stand with the Bussekins. Also, it is a thick blade but that was known before you purchased it because all the blade geometry was given. There are jobs for thin blades and jobs for thick ones.
Anyway - Enjoy it or sell it! there are plenty of folks out there that missed out on it that would love to take it off your hands.
