I do know you can modify kydex too to accommodate regular para-cord (by making the mouth wider) like with a hair-drier and heat. Other ways work too but be careful if you go hotter!

Rainwalker showed/explained to me how to do it once and it worked great. I personally like regular para-cord which is thicker and more comfortable in my hand/grip.
