Yup, I agree with MB and JJ. We've had penny for going on 14 years. She IS our baby girl. Yes, I have put myself in jeopardy twice to protect her from MUCH larger dogs. Fortunately no animal was hurt (not even me).
Sorry but not the same as putting your life on the line. Yes I have picked up my dog during a walk to protect her from a much much bigger aggressive dog. I had no where to run, I had no time to do anything but pick up my dog
