Texas is great too!

I left in 2000. California has the best weather and land of any place I know of. Problem is, you can't afford to own any of it. That is where Texas shines. Problem with Texas is that it's ALL private land, and HOT as haides.
You CAN afford it, but only in the San Jouquin Valley (where I lived) or the Mojave. Tough sell, but as they say, its close to everything.
