My brother bought one for his oldest son last Christmas.
My parents bought him a regular eye relief Leupold 3x9 vari-x II scope for it, with bases to use on the rifle.
My nephew not only uses for target practice, but also for hunting deer and moose.
The rifle is accurate and so far very reliable, the only thing he wants to do to it is change the 10 round mag with a 5 round one while hunting.
He loves the rifle, and when hunting he may be carrying it or it may be riding on his quad.
I know that putting on a regular relief scope defeats the scout rifle concept, but my nephew wanted a hunting rifle/quad gun and this one works perfectly.
