yeah, i was thinkin burled mable, zebrawood, figured walnut, somethin like that. brazilian rosewood, birdseye maple...i prefer those two on guitars but i'll take em if i see em.
You will be more apt to baby the knife if it is too fancy, but stabilized wood shouldn't be too delicate.
