anyone shot the smith? that ugly logo on the slide really turns me off and it has an external extracter which makes me reluctant to call it a 1911 but no one doesn't love theirs and it's relatively cheap. I hear it compares very well to kimbers costing $300+ more.
I have but I wasn't that impressed! for the money go with a Kimber or Springfield 1911!
my top three are the springfield mc operator, the kimber tactical, or the smith.
