I would like to replace (well no I would keep it as I have had it far to long now just to let it go) my Win 375H&H with an older Sako slinging the same round. I would also love a Sako Safari in .458Lott.
At the other end of the scale a Brno (CZ) Fox in .222 or .223 sent out to a good gunsmith and smoothed out would be high on my list as well.

Andy, a friend of mine has a .458 Lott; he says the kick is BRUTAL and tough to get a follow-up shot.

I'm lusting after an M1903A3 Springfield receiver and bolt. I'd like to build a rifle on one, barreled for something big, like .35 Whelen. I thought about the 9.3x62, but it just wouldn't be right in an M1903 Springfield action.

I had a .460 Weatherby at one point (still regret selling it) that was hard but not brutal. I have used 30/06s that left me battered and I hunt rabbits with my .375H&H...

I've hunted rabbits with a 25-06. Nothing much left of the head. 44 mag turned a 4 lbs squirrel's innards into soup. But even a 30-30 or 30-06 can turn a large critter inside out with the wrong shot...
