No, just the XDs is a smaller gun and The 200gr Corbons are zipping along in the 1100 fps arena I think. Just thought they may beat it up if I shot them very much.

The Gun. I'm not that sensitive to that loading as my fat hands do pretty good taking the recoil.

greaser, a word of caution on using handloads in your carry guns--you leave yourself open to serious legal issues about using "specially formulated killer rounds" should you ever need to use your weapon. Moronic concept, but it flies with juries/judges who don't know better. Paints you as a gun nut who makes his own ammunition and is heck-bent on killing someone. FWIW. Federal law enforcement, handloading is the only way I can afford to shoot enough to stay proficient for my job.  You just have to think a step ahead of them.

Weatherby PA459 Tr 20ga. #3 buck with slugs for backup if really needed. Oh and 45.acp Hornady Critical duty 220gr W/polymer tip as well.
