Congratulations to both of you! Raising a child takes a lot of effort but is very rewarding. Take a lot of pictures and videos. They grow up very quickly.

My wife looked at me sadly last night when were having dinner and said, "I guess no red wine for me for the next 9 months." Haha... love her.
Excellent call on the Yardware! I wish there were wooden versions of the SYKCO and Busse lines. Great way to get the kid used to a knife.

Start out with a wooden spatula. Start boning up on your camping/survival skills now so that you can teach them to your child later. It's a great way to spend time teaching the youngster to love the outdoors as well as developing a strong bond with him/her.

CONGRATULATIONS! Your life will be changed, FOR THE BETTER! You will get frustrated, mad, nervous and the happiest folks in the world! Oh and remember, if it's a girl, when she gets picked up on her first date to have your pump shotgun in your hand as you answer the door. ALWAYS a conversation starter! Seriously, congratulations. I only had an adopted son (he was 2) but it was still a joy raising him until he went to live with his mother at 14. Gee whiz, that was 30 years ago.
