Nice pics. I really miss seeing water. There are some really nice lakes around here, but I don't out to them much.

Great pix Vic - beautiful realestate.
You didn't eat at the Nazi Cafe? Must be an interesting place... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Glad to see you using your SS4 and not making it a safequeen! I attacked things w/ my Badger today when the wife and Jordan and I went down to the river. I didn't bring a camera, but the Badger is a heck of a cutter.
Anyways, looking forward to pix of the Yard Guard and your adventures.

Victor,
Every time I see the South Georgia Swamps I get a tingle inside.I can imagine the sounds of the birds, insects, leaves rustling on the trees. And the smells in the air. It looks like one of the true good places to live. How blessed you and the "Yutes" are to have your slice of heaven here on Earth. The call of the Blue Heron echoing through the swamps must be eerie. What a great walk Vic. thank you so much again for sharing. I ALWAYS love the walks. The pictures let your imagination run with the details. Too cool.
Can I ask a sub thought from you?
The SS-4, now I don't think I have heard a sour word on it from anyone...ever! But you have ..well hands like hams. I am also cursed with non petite/normal sized hands. How does the handle and grip on the SS-4 ride for you? Is it a full size grip? Does it fall short in your palm?
If you get a minuet let me know won't you? Thanks again Vic. And like you said. God bless our service men and women who have and are still serving our country.
  Peace.

Victor,... The SS-4, now I don't think I have heard a sour word on it from anyone...ever! But you have ..well hands like hams. I am also cursed with non petite/normal sized hands. How does the handle and grip on the SS-4 ride for you? Is it a full size grip? Does it fall short in your palm?... The handle on the SS4 is roomy. It has a palm swell and is textured for a sure grip. The choil is very nice and allows me to choke up on the blade for precise work. The handle works for me in the hammer grip, fencing grip, and reverse grip. For chopping, I use a three finger grip toward the back of the handle. The blade is neither too thick nor too thin, and its width of about 1 1/8" is useful for many tasks. It has a fine point, too. I would be hard pressed to choose between the SS4 and the HRLM. In short, the SS4 is a perfect 4" knife. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/SS4004-1.jpg)
