The difference a nice convex grind made to my SS4 is unbelievable.
It takes a long time if you don't use a grinder. I have one but it means I can wreck my knives much aster and more efficiently so I usually stick to the lansky.

I have been HornDogging my YKLE and have one side polished and the bevels are started being reduced but it takes a LONG time even with the diamond sharpener.

The cops I sold my DMCG's to love them. One is a drug cop the other a mountain bike patrol dude and they both use the Mutts for all sorts of stuff from breaking into dope houses to rescuing trapped motorists even splitting donuts.

Congrats on your new "Muttlies", Unsub.

I too like the DMLE a little better overall than the original.

It should be there soon John if mine came today. It was longer than usual but
not bad. I really liked how much cheaper it was compared to the same priced knife last year. .

Welcome to the Yard fellow canuk I hope you like it here. If you are looking for a sheath for your new knife Rainwalker is amazing and can do anything whether kydex, leather ,leather with panels of exotic materials or kydex with drop leg panels and Eric from On Scene Tactical is a fellow Canuk who does great heavy kydex.

I usually go for kydex but leather might be better if you don't want scratches on your LE.
