looks like i'm 30 minutes late on this one, but just to let you know...

CountyComm shorted me $25 (mirrors and whistles as a matter of fact) of the $90 order I placed last week. They claim they'll take care of it, but not the best experience for my first order. I'll let you know how it turns out.

On the other hand, the $1 lights are indeed awesome!

UPDATE: One email is all it took. CountyComm made my order right with minimal hastle. They are back on my 'full endorsement' list.

i'll double and triple check my order when it gets in.

thanks for the warning, even if it is a little late. i didn't spend too much money there, so even if they stiff me on the entire order it won't be too hard to shake off.

i was considering their mirror and orange fox 40 whistle. the psk spirits must favor me.

the mirror is pretty small, but i ordered a couple. fox pealess whistles are the best. i've never tried the slim ones from CC, but i've used them for years training my dogs and back in my water polo coaching days before that. i'm a big believer in 'whistles for all' in the outdoors. it's just so easy to get out of voice range in the woods, whereas a whistle bridges the distance easily.

Welp, it's official now, I got the promotion at work I mentioned in my very first post on the Yard. Sure took them long enough but they had their reasons I suppose.

Could be a dream or nightmare, but will most likely depend on the given day.

i've got a fox 40 micro attached with a diaper pin to my pack. it's a great little whistle. makes a ton of noise with minimal effort.

i made my wife attach one to her pack as well.
