What's Stay Glow?
I sometimes put fluorescent yellow tape and/or glow in the dark paint on some of my camera gear items.

What's Stay Glow?
I sometimes put fluorescent yellow tape and/or glow in the dark paint on some of my camera gear items. it's a newer type of glow in the dark replacement scale they use for saks. with a good charge it can last 12 hours and it can be really bright, like a light inside the thing! The super bright fades in a few minutes but it stays bright enough for a long time! I need to try a halogen light on it (to charge).

so you just "pop" off the old scales (their just snapped on with three pins) and "pop" in the new ones.

Ah. Europium doped glow in the dark scales. I use Europium doped glow in the dark paint. Great stuff. Much better than the old glow in the dark technologies.
Heh. I know how easily the scales come off. Not to sound too blasphemous, but I have several times thrown SAKs in the air, to remove unwanted scales.

I use a small screwdriver and carefully pry them off.

I never carry my SAKs. Most of them are on semi-permanent loan to friends, and some are in storage.

I really like them for backups, so small and light I forget I have them!

I use a small screwdriver and carefully pry them off. Like I said, above, I'm not exactly "handy". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

for the quality, for the price, for all the little things you can use them for, I really like the idea of them.

I really like them for backups, so small and light I forget I have them! That makes sense, particularly with the mini ones, with the scissors and knife and file.
