I probably should have kept it mint as rare as they are but she's a user now. they are sweet little knives, but I still like the SS4 better

According to legend, that was an unintentional event: Swamp Shack INFIcoot pageThose tan res-c 'coots are my favorite Rats, with RMDs running second.

I like my SS4s, but I like my INFIcoots at least as well. The handles are almost as comfortable as mudders, and it's tan.

I haven't had any luck looking for another SS4 in the last week or 2. they don't seem to be trading nearly as often as they used to

It can be hard to tell how much of what's said is marketing. I thought that the "Jerry hates the SAR-5" stories were pretty much hype. However, when I spoke to Garth (and others in the crew), they said he was really unhappy that a design drawing other than the one he'd intended had been used. I saw that they still had a few SAR-5s at the last Knob Creek, but I'd already spent about 3X what I'd intended.

it is quite a coincidence that Scrap Yard and Swamp Rat both got a batch of INFI to make such similar blades

I remember when I first found the Scrap Yard site -- I couldn't believe that those little knives were listed at the same price as those big Dog Fathers. No way they were worth that -- but I was wrong.

yeah I remember when the hell razors first came out. I'd been sweet on the old straight handles and ergo's but I didn't think I'd ever pay that much for a knife lol
