We saw the clip Noss did and wanted to see for ourselves. WOW- I pounded the snot out of it and it took a beating and held up !! I am talking good edge and all. I should have taken pictures but wouldn't post them here anyway. Hey- just wanted to say Thanks for putting me onto that- appreciated. Tolly got some really SWEEEET steel. Here's a little teaser pic or two...I'll post the hi-res pics tomorrow of all the new steel. Only the SOG stuff is new, the Scrappers in these pics I've had for a while. Also, the Super SOG Bowie in these pics has been stuck in a few pigs so it isn't brand new, but I did get two new ones...

I also picked up a few others as well. I will do a little comparison write up including some of our favorite Scrappers and post in a seperate thread tomorrow.

You will probably notice the laser engraving on some of the blades. I had them engraved with a good friends company logo and motto as a little advertising for him. I use the Tigersharks and Super SOGs as Pig Stickers, and the little Seal Pup Elites are very handy little knives for what they cost. The Super SOG Bowies are built like tanks with their .250" thick spines and they will take serious punishment!

Yep, I'm in pretty good shape right now.

I also just finished putting the lower parts kit in my new "2nd Amendment Edition" AR-15 lower that I got from Territorial Gunsmiths. They were all hand made and there are only 232 of them, one for each year of the republic. The serial numbers all start with 1776, and the laser engraving on them is just amazing!

It's going to have an 18" mid-length LaRue Tactical upper on it with some very nice optics! Oh yeah, the lower will be finished off with an LMT SOPMOD stock kit.

some cool blades. i wanted a tech bowie for a long time.

i'm actually only now buying the knives i wanted back when i thought $50 was too much for a knife. still won't pay $100+ for a taiwanese blade, but i continue to want it.

i am, however, looking at getting a fixed tanto, of which i own none.

The build quality and workmanship is very nice on the new SOGs. The FatCat is truly a beast for those of you who like beefy folders.

When it comes to folders, two of my favorite carry pieces are my Spyderco Mini-Manix, and my H&K 14205 by Benchmade. The FatCat is on par with both of those two bruisers!
