You could do the detachable combo, by using a nylon sheath for the external sheath..... Anyway, that kydex rig looks great!!

I must have been babbling in my excitment ,I like the pancake for outdoors and the folded for concealment. My SS4 pancake works really good though because it is exactly the same shape as my pocket.

Thought of that TKC...Only problem I see would be the possibility of the eyelets tearing the nylon when in rugged use... Thanks a bunch!! BTW... Anyone know where I can get me some of those nylon cargo pocket thingies?? I want to mount one on my DF and my Ranger knives Rd9 sheath...They look just like the ones on the nylon sheath BUT are more or less seperate..ahh does that make sense?? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

Try Maxpedition pouches or spec ops. They may have what you are looking for.

Try the US or Canadian army versions ,they are not as trick as the maxpedition but are way cheaper from a surplus store. Most of that stuff has a army issue version if you don't want to pay the big bucks. I wanted a maxpedition Manpurse but there is no way I could afford one so I got the Canadian Forces version here. I use it daily and it has velcro belt loop[s so I can wear it as a buttpack or attach it to my bike or other pack. It does look like an OD purse. ![[Linked Image from img1.putfile.com]](http://img1.putfile.com/thumb/12/35016261963.jpg)
