Most all of us have missed out on a Scrap Yard, Swamp Rat or Busse at some point or another. It can be frustrating. But, generally, if you really want one and understand that they can be had on the secondary market often in the beginning for about what the "Gross Cost" to the buyer + "ONE additional shipping charge, then they can be had.

The hard ones are the older ones. The prices just keep going up and the availability just keeps going down.

*Looks at time on Invoice* I guess I got in just in time! I didn't think these would sell out that fast, but I figured I'd go ahead and be prompt in ordering just in case. Sorry, but I bought two - a friend of mine only has the leatherman that I gave her, and I thought this would be a nice addition for a BOB. Of course, now I have to do some research on how to take care of them after abusing them (the knives, you dogs, not the women!).

So what is the feeling, are we going to see more of these?

Welcome, walrus. I have seen limited editions go pretty fast, but I have never seen any Scrap Yard knife sell out as fast as the Yard Keeper just did. Usually, they will be around for a few days.
