Buffalo that is a real beauty you got there! It looks like it will last at least your lifetime!!
How sweet to own a Rainwalker Leather Creation.
Well done!!
Peace.
Do you really do anything with the mutt or YK that justifies the weight and thickness? I always liked my smaller blades to slice better, but I work a lot with cardboard.
Hi Dark!
Welcome to The Yard! That is belated because you sure are the KING of the Low Posters Society!
In a nutshell....YES!
I rarely cut cardboard or open mail ever. BUT... he said in a loud clear voice I DO play outside quite a bit! I need my fixed blade knives to be able to dig a fire pit in rock hard Wisconsin clay. To split branches off dear trees for a fire. To pry open things that are in need or prying.
I do a ton of weekend vacation time at our local State Park and I do Axe/hatchet work all the time with my Mutt and Dog Father. The Mutt has even been used as a "step up" into a tree for my daughter when she needed to retrieve a lost item. I whacked it into the trunk about three feet up and she stood on it to reach into the tree limbs then climb to her lost treasure.
The Mutt is shaving sharp and un-phased by my abuse.
I have always said and ever will say Scrap Yard Blades...I would stake my family's very lives on them NOT failing!
I believe it in my heart. They will NEVER let us down. And part.. quite a bit of the confidence comes from the thickness and weight. It and the testing done shows it to be one of the most superior steel blades in the world today.
Keep in mind Dark that these are HARD USE blades. Not Gerber type hunting/small game knives.
These are made to exceed all the limits of those other brands by such a margin that they are in a class above all other knives.

Enjoy The Yard dark! And Dan, no need to send me money for that commercial.
It's free and from the heart.
LONG LIVE THE YARD!!!
Peace.
