Hello all, just received my DMDC in the mail. It is bigger than I expected and feels great in the hand. It didn't come very sharp, but I can remedy that. The DC finish is very nice, smooth and consistent. I think I have a new woods pal.

Also, I ordered a kydex sheath with my blade but it wasn't included in the box. My past Scrapyard blades have always had the sheath in the same shipment. From everyones experience, should I contact Dan and Patti or wait for a separate shipment?

That means mine should be here in a day two. That's a good looking knife. I just read a test over on BF by Noss on the Chris Reeve Green Beret. It broke in half while he was hammering it with a 3 lb. steel mallet! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> S30V is a good steel, but not as tough as S7 shock steel. So, think of the DMDC as better than a $300 knife for $80. Glad I never used my GB. I wouldn't have taken a steel mallet to it anyway.

Check the invoice that came with the knife. I ordered a YKCG and small kydex sheath at the same time. The sheath wasn't in the box. Patti had hand written BO (back ordered) beside the sheath on the invoice. The sheath came a couple of weeks later.

There actually was no invoice in the box, as I was going to look for the same thing. I emailed Patti. I'm sure it will work out. They are probably busy as hell!
