Hmm, i wasn't aware that 5-7's were available to civilians? Thats cool that they are, I've always had a soft spot for that particular hand-gun

Mac, why was you uncle killing coyotes? Much less a pack of them?

They were chasing after a 14pt buck that was to far to get with a bow, so rather then rittle the buck with bullets he just fired on the coyotes.

Still havent gotten that buck, we see it every year.

I'm hoping he had a licence for them and did something with the pelts.

Yes. If you absolutely MUST compare 5.7x28mm to another round, .22 hornet would probably be the closest match. Even still, .22 hornet was not designed to tumble, yaw, or function in any type of autoloader. They are worlds apart even though they are kind of similar in velocity and bullet weight.
Read up on fivesevenforum.com and do your own tests if you really do like this weapon system. Everything from squirel up to 240lb hog as well as angry bi-peds have been taken with one well placed shot when using the right 5.7x28mm loads.
Either way, if the gun fails, you always have your SYKCO blade to rely on!
