There was a comedian who dressed up as a Taliban terrorist who broke into Prince Andrew's 18th party and shook Andy's hand before he was jumped on..

Speaking of INFI, it appears that the new HACK from Busse Combat is a 5.5" OAL tiny necker size knife. What a shocker!
HACK = HOG Apprentice Custom Knives
They go on sale once the NMFBMs come down. There should be lots of "one off" custom models as well as a regular lineup of Micarta and G-10 handled knives.

The HACK is cool, especially the mammoth scales. I might pick one up depending on the price.

i've been wondering exactly what dan meant by "dog bowl" myself.
was it in relation to a bowl like one you eat out of since we are currently malnourished at the moment with a severe SR77 deficiency or does he mean a bowl of some sort like in football....superbowl,rosebowl,puppybowl..?????
looking forward to it all the same.

Personally, I'm not fond of serrations. Just give me some nice plain edged beauties, and I'll be happy!
I'll divulge my share of the serrated to you Adamlau, and you can give me your share of th PE's.... Deal?

I used to only like plain edge but I have come around again on GOOD serrations like the spyderedge. I would like to try the busse serrations on something thin and sharp. I especially like how they put them at the front. I hate half serrated though. I want all PE or all SE. Tyger you can't not think this is cool?

I hate to have to tell you Unsub, but yeah I don't like it. When I see it, all I think is the extra time it's gonna take to sharpen it over a regular plain edge. I'm horrible at resharpening SE's, but real good at doing PE's. Believe me, I've watched videos, read books, and practiced, practiced, practiced. It's a real bother for me to sharpen those serrations, so I avoid them. Now, if I had this guy hanging around to do nothing but sharpen my knives all day, then I'd buy serrated!

i find them to be too 'SPECIALIZED' for me.
a serrated will work great some of the time but a plain edge will work at least good all of the time.
since massad ayoob designed that its probably for self defense maybe???
i would like a knife like that for SD or something specialized like for cutting thick rope or fibrous materials.
the sharpening thing is a kicker for me though.

Full serrated edge fan here! Particularly on cutting edges under four inches. uick and easy to touch up along Sharpmaker rod corners. Very quick, actually. I will be sending in the Nuke EDC for full serrations on Tuesday, hope to get it back sometime in 2009 .
