I received the two BDLEs I requested (numbers 59 and 60). I think I'm going to have to try to time my ascent to JYD-dom for #60 because I've got MPLE #60 too. I also bought six 10-inch sheaths and eight 6-inch ones -- that was two boxes worth of nylon.

I got mine today too. Ya know, originally I said I wasn't going to get the BDLE or MPLE, and now I ended up buying a couple of each. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I knew I'd like the MPLE -- it's like a BAD with a big comfy handle. I wasn't so sure about the BDLE; it looks just like a fillet knife, which I think of as a cheap, nearly disposable kind of knife. However, after handling it I've got to say that the quality of the BDLE is far better than any other fillet knife I've ever owned.

This one will probably go in the kitchen block... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />I do love the handle and blade shape on this knife. It will come in very handy cutting up and de-boning chicken.. Just wish it came with a more acute edge.
