Howdy Ho W/D! You mean you didn't get one of those monsters, considering all the trees where you live? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hey Jeff,

Congrats! on the new blade.....thanks for the comparison pictures as well, the pictures tell me two things:

First.....you favour your DFLE over all your other knives( it looks very nicely beaten) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Secondly.....That NMFBM isn't as big as I had hoped. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Now where the heck is mine????????? and why didn't I order more? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

When you care enough to use only the best...stick'em with a SKYCO knife.

So Jeff, I realize I might be putting you on the spot a little. But, I think you should be able to tell us about your favorites.

Price aside, I think they are an AWESOME group you have there. (I know you have many others. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />)

How do you rank the following knives:

Please include your views as why you like which ones, what you consider their strengths. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> And weaknesses if you feel so inclined. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Hmmmm feel free to add the Hell Razor, SJTAC, ASH1 varients, Camp Tramp and some others into the mix. I assume you have those. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

.

KG, I'll see what I can do this evening. I'm really slammed at work, so I'll wait so I can go into that kind of detail. Believe it or not I don't own an HR, SJTAC,or Camp Tramp, but I do have the Jackhammer which is very close to the SJTAC, and the CG ASH and Skinny. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Bramel, made a very worthy and valid point.... Notice which two show signs of use.

Some knives are a little too expensive to justify using sometimes - Safe Queens.

Some knives are VERY worthy and justify use much easier. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I can't argue with that to a certain extent on the Safe Queens, although all mine are users. However I have to keep my pattern blades in good shape for patterning as well as pics. The DFLE and Chopweiler are a couple of my beaters, I grabbed them for the pics, because I was in a hurry. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Those two and my S6 are some of my favorite users though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> And overall value (price/perfomance ratio) definately makes a difference.

Jeff you think you are having a Nuclear Meltdown. USPS website says my PO received my NMFNM this morning at 6:00 AM. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> My wife goes to the post office as I am traveling. No Knife and no notice in the box. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> She is told they probably wont work packages up until in the morning. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> You know you live in an old fashion small town when your post office closes at noon on Thursays like its still 1940. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> Makes me want demonstrate the chopping power of a Busse for them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

C/P - that IS a meltdown! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> I live a few miles outside of a little town of 259 people, and if I check at the Post Office they will check through their incoming bags for me! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Now that is service. PK i am in the deep south where our PO goes by the book. The first thing this postmisstress did when she came here a few years ago was during her first week and entirely on her own pulled down a mural that covered the entire 4 walls of the front room of our PO.This mural was commissioned by the USPS on the 50s. In one corner of the mural was depicted some black people picking cotton and she didnt like it. Evidently she had never read "How to win friends and influence people." Rainwalker sorry to get offtopic.
