DFLE - 1 lb .9 oz

DFCG - 1 lb 4.3 oz

How's that. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Better than my scale! I think I remember the DF being about 20 oz or so. It is nearly as heavy as my CS Gurkha Kukri.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

My CG SOD came in at 15.9 oz, but now that I've given it a nice back edge it's only 15.6.

Alternating my black SOD and my DFLE,
they seem to weigh very close to each other.

Thanks.

I was close then,then
SOD and the DFLE weigh nearly the same.
I might have to start looking for a Monster DFCG!

polarbare,

Have you used them yet?
If so, did you notice any difference in use?

Cheers <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Unfortunately I'm a city boy, and no chance to use them yet <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I would expect the DFLE to outchop the SoD by a good margin because of the extra length on the DF. You get a lot more rotation and speed with a longer blade.

Yep. That's why machetes chop so well (with the proper technique).
