well it is something different. Hmm, not liking all the over ornate channels on the blade. Someone say bread knife? Yep got one just like it. The thumb groove section looks like it would chew up your hand during chopping.. IMHO it looks like a cheap Chinese sci-fi POS knife. (Sorry!)

Excuse my ignorance folks - but I have a question. What exactly is this blade designed for ? Or the other pictured above. If it is a comabt type of blade- maybe one of the guys on here that is familiar with this can enlighten please. I have been doing extesive study on some Applegate types of fighting knives I just landed- but this does not seem to fit that protocol. Am I missing something ? Maybe just a wall hanger ? Why have great steel if that is the case ? Lil help on this Dawgs-( or Hogs) Thanks

I have no idea what purpose those grooves serve, but maybe Jerry will mention it when he announces the knife for sale. I think it is mostly for style, but who knows?
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I'm still interested to see what the whole thing looks like, but those thumb grooves/notches gotta go!

i just hope jerry has a good explanation for those vertical grooves on the blade and that they arent there just to look cool especially since a lot of people dont think they look cool and plus i find that a bit cheezy.
from how jerry explained the tip and pictures of the original HG55 it looks to me like a fighter before all the added gizmos to it.i have no need for a fighter.
i wonder if jerry wasnt sure how we would react tto it so he only showed us part of it,the most extreme part.
he's shown knives before and then released something else like the bussmuk.
this thing is up their with the shiva rex and nuclear edc.at least jerry had an explanation for the appearance of the shive rex.time will tell on this one

I called it the CCFFBM or Crinkle Cut French Fry Battle Mistress. Those scallops would help keep meat from sticking to the blade CP!

You think we get any mileage out of these debone knives? ![[Linked Image from i353.photobucket.com]](http://i353.photobucket.com/albums/r378/chickenplucker/IMG_0961.jpg)

All Dexters. We use the blue ones in debone separating boneless breast meat from the breast frame, also some hand trimming.
