I think a swift beheading with one of dem Busse swords would suffice, or maybe a dogfather....

ImagineFJ, Most of my relatives live in Texas (That may be why I live in Oklahoma ). I was visiting an Aunt and her family.

Nice pics. Good things about rattlers is they at least give you warning. I would rather be around them than a cotton mouth.

If I had my "conservation" head on....those are pic's of nature's harmony....if I had my "hunter gatherer" head on....those are pic's of some nice future sheath inlays and some good eating done in a true Chinese Seshuaan Sauce and Vermacelli Singapore Noodles...a hard choice!!!

+1, but I am hungry right now, so I am leaning more toward the hunter gatherer...

Oh and to answer the original question of which scrapper? I would not be near enough to them to use a knife until the shotgun had been used....

Check out THIS one from Texas...8 feet long, 91 pounds, 15 rattles & a button.

So cool! Well, until you get too close... I say leave 'em alone.. at least until after the deed is done. Then grab the mossberg...
