Definately try an AA before you buy it JB....there was one at the last Fall KC and I was very tempted but they are done for guys with hands/fingers which are huge...my take was that I was as likely to break my fingers as much as anyone's face if I had to use the dusters....and using the blade would be very uncomfortable for me because of the too wide duster fit...

As a fighter "for real" I think the Jackhammer or SJTAC which you have is pretty much ideal...light and fast and easy to carry with enough blade to do all the standard stuff...for that matter I also think a RMD is ideal as well...but I have a JH and SJTAC because for me they are the closest so far to ideal that I can afford in INFI and the pommel crusher is a good design.

Personally I would rather have the bolt on accessory which makes a "D GUARD" type duster for comfort....Randucci has done some nice ones on mini SHSH's....and I decided to go for a 3B2 as an option to the JAC's as I might ask Randucci to make me a D Guard for this knife like those done on his knives...and the 3B2 feels just like a SJTAC on speed and comfort...

I bet that display was sight to see.

I was at the Wannamacher show in Tulsa, OK yesterday and saw 2 Busse knives--a Zero Tollerance and a Ash-1. Too much money in my opinion.

All I can tell you is that there is going to be at least 7 different models going to Knob Creek and some of the models have color combinations that have never been offered before! ENJOY!!!!!!!

so can anyone that was there comment on the accuracy of this report? From the reviews it doesn't seem like it was accurate.

Jim said that all of the Dogfathers had been snapped up by a "vendor" allowed in obviously early before the customers when he and Jeff got there....I suspect the rare colour versions went the same direction....

Not a vendor. From what I understand it was just a really fast Dog from the Yard!

All the power to them! As another JYD has said there are two types of Dogs in the Yard.

The quick and the hungry.

I scored a Tank Grey Dogfather that I will be posting pictures of this weekend. I posted a WTB post on another forum, and got offered the Dogfather only to learn that it was a Knob Creek score. It was waiting for me today when I got home from work, and all that I can say is WOW . I ordered one of the kydex sheaths from the Yard store. Does anybody have one of these sheaths and any comments about them?
