Hi yard i just got my first pants from the leather genius Rainwalker. i got these pants for my SOD. the fit and finish are superb! i wanted the sheath to be detachable so i could throw it in a pocket or take it off for sitting or anything else without having to undo my belt and all that rigamarole! so rainwalker said i needed a frog (i thought he was joking at first!) i must say it is a HUNK of leather! its gotta be thicker than my cgfbm sheath. the stud firsts perfectly in place and i even got some cool little lines on the frog. some sutilties include the belt loop and top of frog being beveled at an angle along with the snap. i am very pleased with his work. thanks jeff!!!

now the pics!

Sweeet!!

Before the SOD came out, I worked with Jeff to make one with a stud and removable frog just like that, but instead of the retention strap on the handles, it wraps around the square choil. I didn't go through with it because money got tight, but I still plan to get one later.

Awsome. If I end up with a DF, or other large chopper, that is the sheath I want for it.

Black leather, ohhhhhh, ahhhhhhh!

Great looking sheath, Matt. It is much like the one I have for my Crowell-Barker competition knife, only Jeff's work is better. Very practical and handy. That is a good idea for any large knife. He did me a machete sheath with a detachable frog.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Wow, that is some very nice work. I'll have to employ rainwalker for my scrapyards! Once I get the SS4 stripped, he's the man.

Thanks for the pics Matt. Definitely a sweet design I wonder if a "frog" can be done with a kydex sheath/leather "holder" combo hmmmm.......

Nice. That looks really good. I'm leaning towards something like that for the M9 LE (if and when I ever get one...)
