That is grim news. Don't give up hope though. You should have her seek alternative medicine. Chemo sucks and destroys the body. My father is a professor and works at the University of Hawaii. He teaches Hawaiian Herbal Medicine. He was taught by his grandfather. He has cured many people of cancer. One of his students used to have breast cancer. She followed the regimen and was found to not have any trace of cancer in her body. She has taken lessons outside of the University (as offered by my dad) and continues to remain cancer free. Again, don't give up. Have her seek out a practitioner of Alternative medicine.

just found out a girl a used to work with and briefly dated, has stage 4 breast cancer, that has spread to both her breast and liver. she is given 3-5 years to live, can't remove the cancer it's spread too far. radical chemo and radiation or not an option either. she's 29 and has a 4 year old daugther. haven't talked to her yet, found out about it by third party, just don't know what to say when i do see her. We will keep her and you in our prayers...be strong and be there, the words will happen Dan

Sorry to hear about your friend. My wife's sister died 7 years ago at 48 and she left an 11 year old son to be raised (if you can call him that)by a drunken dad. BUT, thank God he gave her a Fantastic spirit and for the last month of her life she was (at her request) in a nursing home where she died. ALL the workers there talked about how SHE mad them feel better. She had made her peace with God and he gave her this sunny outlook on life, he gave her happiness not self pity. My heart and prayers go out for your friend and her daughter and you as well. Try and stay strong for them and the remaining time she has will be the better for it.

If I was in your place , which is not easy....I'd be there for her , help make arrangements , and be her friend. I have someone close to me going through the same thing. She has pushed us away(she doesn't want us to pity her). Her daugther is 12 , and is going to live with her father. Whether we have 1yr , or 100yrs....it's not how much time we have....it's what you DO with the time your given. She , and you may not understand this situation...but God has a plan. Someone may learn , believe , grow , love or prepare for their own mortality...God never said "this life will be easy"....Just have faith in His plan.
