OP pitman Junk Yard Dog Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 2,795 Vancouver Island, B.C	Went on one of my more difficult hikes today, set off in rain but finished in sunshine ! The trail was like an obstacle course all the way up ! Here I am blowing like a loco, ya soon warm up on this trail...... At last a level section, I have been training Snicker ( T.T ) to return when I blow my Jet Scream whistle........ The level section didn't last long, here are two more examples of how gnarly the trail is........ Incase ya wondering what knife I took it was my Swampwarden, I tried to travel light today...... Near the top I bumped into these pretty girls, well actually it was T.T who decided to jump all over them ! They didn't know what a Scandi Grind was and had never heard of Horace Kephart so I went on my way !!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> More to come ! At the top there is this large body of water, here is a pic I took of the reflection in the water...... This was where I stopped to drink my tea. While having my tea I noticed these guys swimming around in the water, they are either Newts or Salamanders..... Maisy is looking a little tired in this pic, she ain't getting any younger bless her..... TT could have done the walk twice over.... By now the sun had come out and so the wool shirt had to come off...... Another of the view........ And one final one looking out toward the water....
