The Busse Basics were "Modified" INFI and SR-101 first showed up on the Busse Tali-Wacker (I still love that name)
SR-77 I belive first showed up on the Swamp Rat Crash-Ax.
Let me preface by pointing out that this is completely based on my reading and researching, and I have absolutely no first-hand knowledge of the situation whatsoever. This is purely from the perspective of someone who's googled a few websites out of curiosity.
From what I can gather, the Tali-Whacker, while originally produced immediately after 9/11 as a custom military run, wasn't actually released for general sale as a military overrun until 2003. That puts it after the beginning of Swamp Rat.
In other words, while the steel was used on one very special release pre-swamp, it very well might not have been "named" at that point, since it was for a custom run and had no need to be advertised.
Unless there were any other old Busse's that got that steel, I still stand by my guess that it was named SR-101 to coincide with the starting of the Swamp Rat brand.
