hey everyone! girlfriend is out of town so I had some time to get my "mini" knife shop setup in the garage.
finally setup my drill press and got some stuff for the dremel. i made a simple jig that goes on the bench press to prevent the knife from spinning if the knife gets caught up in the bits. I was suppose to start attaching my knives today but forgot to pick up cut-off disks so I couldn't cut the pins/tube for the handles. tomorrow I should be done with at least one. pics of shop and knife soon.

How can I get better? When I rip my cds to itunes that's how they come out!!
I would love some nicer bit rates..... two suggestions. 1) in iTunes go to preferences, import settings, and adjust the import bitrate from there. lossless makes for a 25MB song, so i use 192kb/s to fit more on my 4th generation iPod. back then they used quality audio components. i wouldn't buy an iPod today. Sansa or Cowon. 2) if you're at home, listen to the CD's. you have a 90's era portable CD player? they're great and cheap on ebay. the modern ones have anti-shock, which is essentially a temporary MP3 encoder, and no line out.

hah, lazi, if it's any consolation, i'm checkin em out for myself.
i would even send you a pair of my own to check out if you wanted. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> lets do this!!! i will put it through my iRiver CD player to PA2V2 (or my super awesome Penguin Royal if it shows up anytime soon). i do prefer character to analytical detail, but i've been feeling that what i lack is a super detailed, completely lucid phone, even if it is boring. still has to be good because i have my eye on the sr225. sr60 kinda stinks. could just be the foams.
