it was a 1990's era panasonic CD player, made in Japan. i bought it for the line out. the headphone out was what broke. if i had to choose one thing to break that woulda been it so, in a sense, i got lucky.
listening to it all evening through the line out, into my old headphone amp. the $120 package was a new headphone amp, much higher grade than what i'm plugged into now.

every single package that i have shipped marked "fragile" or "glass' etc etc has been smashed beyond recognition.
when i used to work as a warehouse grunt for a local shipper, a lot of the lads took great delight in punting any parcel marked fragile around the warehouse. Some got destroyed and were filed in the dumpster.
nowadays i put no markings on any parcel, and they always arrive faster and unscathed.

Looks fine on my end bushman - my guess is, you accidentally clicked one of the headers at the top, and sorted the forums by subject or something, rather than date.
