If you can get in good with the local cops you might find out the name or names of some one man dealerships, where they just sorta sell for themselves at a discount or maybe just to keep their foot in the door and sell at their costs for getting it to their door. I know there's a couple three around here like that. They don't advertise and if you didn't know about them would not know they existed.

You know that reminds me, I went into a local gun and KNIFE store yesterday to buy a leather strop and they looked at me like I was crazy How come? Because you bought a strop to sharpen knives? thing is they didn't even sell them, and thought I was dumb for asking

Thanks guys! I think things will be okay once I get my focus back.
But.... Somebody that is bad news for me has decided that it's worth it to come around. It is not and never had been. It's just bad for me regardless of how it's supposed to appear. Focus is definatly key, sometimes (to me) bad things can appear to be bigger than they really are

I would rather not spend extra money for the same gun at bass pro, but if I'm gonna get good service and not feel uncomfortable, then its worth it bass pro had what I wanted and the guys I talked to where pretty helpful. They got my money. And when they le me return a unfired gun after a week I spent more money with them than anybody else even though I had to pay a little more.

CUSTOMER SERVICE = Yeah, I'll go back, they let me.... Anyway, good customer service can and many many times will cause us to pay more just because we were treated the way we wanted to be treated, not as just a dollar sign.

Off the wall, but a thought just came. Something that my wife says rarely happens! Anyway, I have sometimes thought of myself as a knife snob. You know, dising the cheaper knives. I could kill a death chat with this one... In the end it's just not going to go well and I know it. If I wasn't worried I'd be stupid. Most times in my life Id rather be smart but right now I'd pick stupid because of the catch 22's.
