Dark Norseman we were all talking the other night in this forum about which classic Busse designs we want Dan to rip off and make in SR77 in the near future. I think the main three were: FBMSH, Hell Razor & AK. The AK would rock. I think I'd also like to see the SFNO. Now that would be sweet! And at a price I could live with.

I have no use for a sword though, I wouldn't be too excited about that.
I'd like to se a 3" blade from Dan that I can EDC.

And I have no real use for the RD7 or the DM for that matter unless I get deployed - in which case I'll be taking both! Sometimes these knives don't need a purpose other than making us feel good. I would like to get my hands on an RD4 custom like yours in orange G10. I missed the whole orange phase of grips that was cool about 6 months ago.

Ohhhh! But I do not know how the SFNO would feel in Res-C as it is the shape that is so appealing comfortwise on the SFNO! Hmmmmmmmmmmm!

Yep! A 3" EDC would be really cool. Since the handles here are Res-C I guess we are looking at something like the Busse Basic 3. I am not sure how an Active Duty or Heavy Duty would come out in Res-C.

Basic 3 size would be about right. I'd get one. Probably only $55 or so around here, the way Dan has been giving knives away...

I am really torn over the Mutt. It would basically fill the same niche as my Busse NO-E but there is about a $400 price difference right now. And aside from strictly controlled tests I don't think I would ever be able to tell the difference performance wise. Other than corrosion. But I take care of my knives so that's not an issue.
