the worst strike i have ever seen was in OK ... and it brings back bad memories...
65 cattle died if i remeber right... it stuck the tree they were hiding under... roated half , the tree fell on the rest.... which is suprizing cause if you been to OK you know there trees arnt that big... i remeber helping clean it up.... its sad that most of em went to waste but what can ya do....
makes ya feel lucky dont it....

crazy story, somber bear...
I had lightning hit a house I was in once... saw it travel right down the drainspout for the gutter... it even heated the nails that held the spout in, and made the brick they were seated in explode. impressive sight.
is it true that if there's rain at the beach, you're safest under water (as you are a lower spot than anything around)(definitely not under a tree)?
