I like the more compact socom, but personally don't need all the rails on the socom II.  adds alot of weight. 
 Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms should be a convenience store, not a Government Agency.

I agree on the SOCOM II rail.  All I need is enough space for a light and side sling mount.

Thinking about one of those myself, they gotem at crappy tire for $600 I think. Hound I think he got his through Marstar Nephew bought a Russian SKS about 2 months ago and he is having a blast with it
