I like the more compact socom, but personally don't need all the rails on the socom II. adds alot of weight.
Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms should be a convenience store, not a Government Agency.

I agree on the SOCOM II rail. All I need is enough space for a light and side sling mount.

The socom 16 is perfect.....16 inch barrel and not heavy rail system...
