I am not and was not trying to buy one. I will continue to post and will certainly achieve the 30 required. I am just saying that I have taken more than I have given from this forum over the past year and was wondering if there was some way to help this forum monetarily as a token of my appreciation.

I agree that they should not be sold.
After 30 posts over a couple of months I am still not convinced that I will deserve one. However they are too cool. I am certainly enjoying the one SY knife that I now own and hope to become more involved in this forum as I am more knowledgeable

After 30 posts over a couple of months I am still not convinced that I will deserve one. However they are too cool. I am certainly enjoying the one SY knife that I now own and hope to become more involved in this forum as I am more knowledgeable
I couldn't have said it better myself. I have 6 dog's, a moss green dogfather, desert tan yard keeper, yard hook, scrapper 5 LE, dumpster mutt LE, and test team bowie. The only two I ordered directly from scrap yard are the s5 le and the bowie. ******I kninda feel unworthy myself, although I can't resist getting one.******* Matt (snaggletooth)

This makes my 21st post. Does that mean I just need to get to 30 (9 more before Dec. 15)? Thanks for the opportunity for this patch. For a NEWB and long time lurker I feel a bit guilty about absorbing all of the information that I have over the year with little contribution....and yet I still want a patch.

If you know of a Dog who has not been around for a while let them know we have this going on so they can take part.
If you know others that should be a Dog... teach em a new trick and get them to join in if they indeed have what it takes to be a member of the Yard
There is a bunch of JYD's who have not sent emails so I'm guessing they just don't know

AZ FishHead: From the way I read it, you need only 30 posts MORE than you had (counting from the date of Dan's post on this). Also, from the way I read it, you CAN NOT BUY a Patch, only earn it. If ya be a JYD, you already got a patch. For all us others, we gotta post a total of 30 more from the date Dan put up this Fantastic offer. Hopefully we won't see any of these up for sale anywhere. Well that is any Dogs call. They are rare since they can not be bought Dan
