[quote]Magnum22,
I take it you have a .22 WMR based on your screen name. Don't underestimate the .22 Mag especially in the Hornady 30gr V-Max bullets going 2200 fps. I have a Ruger 10/22M with a magnum research carbon fiber barrel. I guarantee it would stop or slow down an intruder. Put 10 of those puppies in a zombie and it'll give you an excellent advantage over the undead. Then you can use your scrapyard to finish them off. This is the ultimate .22 WMR anti zombie gun(Grendel P-30). 30 rounds of pure zombie melon exploding goodness. Super reliable and 10 mags should get you through most scrapes with your brain intact. I am not familiar with this gun. How does it shoot? The 22 mag is one of my fav's although I am becoming more of a believe in the 17 Dan It's pretty accurate and fires every time you pull the trigger, unlike most other . 22 WMR semis. The muzzle flash is something amazing too. Probably around 5-6'. There was a third world country that was going to buy them for all their police officer's, but I think the assault weapon ban killed the company first. They made a carbine version that was pretty cool to. I wish I had one. Thanks, I will have to keep my eyes open. Very neat little gun Dan

Hmmm... I spotted one of these at the last gun show. Very tempting... What do you guys think is a good price for one of these puppies? Magnum22,

Nice kit PB52! The one important item that is missing for zombie eradication is a shotgun!

Seems like if they are even close the .22 mag might be a better value.

Holy guano Doggies, I forgot my toy, colt ar15 a3 flattop with a beeman 4x30 air rifle scope (don't laugh, it's rated for a full automatic weapon!) Oh Oh, and the pride of my sharp pointies, at least history wise, is my WW II Waki brought back from I think he said Okinawa Can you take a pic of it, I would love to see it.

Pretty much a toss up spec wise.

The 5.7x28mm out of a FiveseveN can match .22 WMR ballistics out of a rifle. So, it's a little better. Bullet construction of the 5.7 is probably better for SD.
Still, in real world use, there's probably not a tremendous advantage. So, like Tedwca said, "pretty much a toss up."
The .22WMR will get you more ammo for the money allowing more practice. That could be a deciding factor in real world application.
