Hey Dogs, for the past couple of days I have been on a deer hunting trip with my son Mike (now 13yrs old). The weather was spectacular and actually down right warm. We had a great time, told stories, cooked most of our meals and really enjoyed the time together.
At 8:05 this morning, Mike got a nice doe. Wow the excitement that pursued with hauling it out of the field. I think he has re-told the story with infinite detail at least 14 times. He fell asleep a couple of hours ago and I think it will take a steel bar to pry him out of bed in the morning.
He did say with much compassion that he was sorry that I did not get a deer but maybe the next time I could be as good as him...trash talk and in your face fun. It is good that he is not competitive <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
What a great time and a set of memories that will last a long time.
By the way, I will be out of pocket for a portion of this week with travel and production meetings but I will try to break if possible and get on the forum for at least a little bit.
In the mean time, I would ask you to help each other make the goal of 30 posts or 3000 post depending on your target for the patch.
Dan

Enjoy your son Dan- they grow up fast. Way too soon you will have 8 grandkids like I now have <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. Every day I remind myself that they are all very special gifts to me for a very short time-Thanks & Enjoy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

It wasn't that long ago that I was teaching him how to hold a gun not alone shoot it. Dan

So what knife did you use processing the deer? I'm guessing probably some sort of Cold Steel <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

What, I just meant, since it's fall, and they were outdoors, the steel was probably cold to the touch. You know, from the cool fall temperatures.

So what knife did you use processing the deer? Maybe Dan was field testing a future Scrap Yard release. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

He probably used some super custom made by the master's hand that is so sharp is not only cut the deer, but also split each blood cell it touched. The next best thing to a light saber!
At least thats what I would use if I had the kinds of resourses Dan and Jerry have.
Oh yeah, this is my 30th post. The patch is all mine, all mine I say!
