Welcome to the brotherhood.... I will tell you this, tonight, if you passed your Board, you are an Eagle Scout. The National Council, does not do anything to approve or disprove you, they just check the paperwork, and record your achievement. Once your council Scout Exec. signs it you can get your badge. But, as in every other Board of Review that you have done, the moment the Board passes you, that is the date you earn your rank, and tonight its The Eagle. So... If you passed tonight, You ARE an Eagle Scout. I am not only the Scoutmaster of our Troop, I am on the District Advancement Committee here in Gulf Ridge Council, Timucua District. I have conducted many Eagle BOR's... you are to be commended... Great job... I became an Eagle in 1971... and that is why I welcomed you to the Brotherhood... I am excited for you, and wish you all the best in your future endeavors, Scouting, and otherwise... If you are going to the 100 year National Jamboree this year at Ft. AP Hill... let me know by PM..
