Never tried predator hunting. Lots of coyotes out here in NVA and a farmer that wants 'em dead. Just never seen one out there. Had 3' of snow behind the house in our suburbia paradise this winter and found some coyote tracks back there when I we to feed the deer. They're out, I just must not have good eyes <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I love single malts and vodka. My father in law located this for me:

Perfect if you like a certain Scotch and want to try a different malt - but want it closely related taste wise.

Hope you don't mind that I stole that. Cool map. Now I know what to get and whether or not I'll like it. Thanks Tag.

Good Saint. Got that gap in the evening - kids are bathed but not in bed yet so just grabbing a bit of chat time...

Coyotes are really skittish, I find. I don't use a call to lure them in, so I've never taken one under 150 yds, they come in too close and catch wind, and BAM, they're gone. They're also nocturnal, unless something gets thier attention. Under a full moon, they stand out a bit though. My suggestion, sit out on your back porch one night with a set of binocs and wait. don't move too much, and get comfy, and you might end up seeing a couple. It takes a lot of patience to hunt them without a call though. If I can get my hands on one before next week, I'm going to. Calls pull them in a lot faster then waiting does. I see a lot of Foxes in my nieghborhood at night, and I live in central Colorado Springs. Amazing how animals adapt to our presence without us even knowing it.

I think he got it off malts.com

I've had fun finding good malts that aren't horrifically priced.

What's your Drink of choice tonight Sumo? I was just diggin thru my bartenders black book thinking what I might like to try soon. There's some wacky names for some of these drinks, lol. Frozen Screaming German diggin for Gold? little out of my price-range though. Goldschlager is way to expensive.
Diet Dr. Pepper tonight. I have a early meeting at school in the morning and don't want to tempt myself missing it.

Evening gents. Anyone do any turkey hunting lately? Looking to head out in a week or two...maybe try my hand this year.
I have hunted a lot of stuff but never turkey. Turkey season here is during wrestling season and summer season so I am pretty much out.
