I just picked up a DM from a guy on BF and I paid $110.00 plus shipping. I was hoping to get one a little cheaper at around 100.00. I think I got a good deal though as I believe these blades will only increase in value from this point. I just got my first Scrap Yard Knife about a week ago and it was an S6. I am very impressed with this knife. I would definitely take the Scrapper 6 into combat with me and not worry one bit about damaging it.
Grats buddy! Feel lucky you were able to find a DM at all! I would pay $125 for the knife, no sweat! THERE IS NOTHING IN THE WORLD LIKE A DM! Repeat after me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> You cannot buy a knife like this anywhere for any price. Think about it.
If you think the S6 is impressive holy cow you will not believe the DM. When I picked it up my first word was..well we'll skip that part. I held it my hand for about an hour before I used it. It just feels that good.
Anyway, I'm blabbing on. The value part will take care of itself. Just enjoy using it.
