Oh, that reminds me. I was talking to a Buddy (dispatcher for the Highway Patrol in this zone) the other day and he said that the tires for his new Camaro cost $500.00 EACH for the rears. Anyway, he said to check out tirerack.com. IF they have bike tires, that might be a good source for you it the cost to get them to you wasn't to much. Just a thought.

Shipping is the killer for me on tires. I've found a few good sources up here. Big problem is tire wear. The roads are primarily chipseal around here. Think 10 grit or maybe 20 grit sandpaper.

My stocker tire made it 700 miles before needing replacement. My cheapo Shinko replacement made it to just about 1000 miles before looking like a racing slick.

I have a set of Mefo Sport Explorers on now. Hoping for a couple of thousand miles on them. Time will be the only judge though.

i wish they made fixaflat for motorcycles. Why not run Slime in your tires? Mine are tubed tires so I just carry extra tubes.

I installed a Stebel airhorn the other day as well. That thing is freekishly loud!
