I thought about it! Man I LOVED that car. AND there was a kid a couple years older than me that had the same make, model AND COLOR as their car! Kept me out of a LOT of trouble. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

On a freshly rained on highway it would sometimes break loose WHEN IT HIT SECOND GEAR! And I'm not just talking about scratching em either, it would start fishtailing!

I bought my 73 Olds from my aunt, she was the proverbial little old lady that only drove to church on Sundays and never over 45. I paid her $800 for it, and the Olds only had 56k IIRC. Drove it for 3 years and sold it for $2500. Wish I had never sold it either.

Just picture this in white with a med blue vinyl top! Sweet! Those old cars just had a soul that the newer ones will never have. I am happiest behind the wheel of an older vehicle for some reason... I have a 2005 Explorer and a 1991 F150, and usually drive the F150. Go figure.
