the regular one. i actually dont have that one anymore. i was able to trade it for a 21 with micarta inlays. i heard that the 21's are a lot more comfy in the hand than the regulars. and the regular wasnt to comfy in my hand.

The interruption was a little tongue in cheek sarcasm.
I really don't want to bother Renee though. I am sure he gets a lot of emails asking "when will my knife get here?"
I'm ot really the kind of person to hound a man.

JJ, don't worry about bothering them, Renee is the girl to talk to and she either can answer you or will find your answer for you. They areVERY VERY supportive of the military and they get first dibs! Give her a PM or email and don't worry about being a bother.

Well, just check my account and I have already been charged for it. It's my understanding that they only charge once they ship. So this could be a good sign. They charged me yesterday and I ordered the day before.
It looks like Dan Busse and company support their troops, since everything I have read leads me to believe there is normally a healthy wait for these knives. I wonder if he'll pick up my next bar tab?

That's the same way with the Knives I have ordered. Dinged then shipped. You should just have to wait on the snail mail to get it to you! I was gonna say IF you were looking for a work of art, you won't be happy as Dan's knives are TOOLS, VERY VERY tough tools! Then I rememberd what you said about being like the rest of us and using a knife cause that's all you got. You're gonna be happy!

Oh by the way, THEY TRY and email when your knife is shipped but have been so busy the email sometimes lags behind delivery of the blade! Don't worry though, if there is anything that goes haywire, they WILL make it right.

I've seen the photos and read the intro. I am well aware of the look and purpose of these blades. I am looking for a tool. I am not a collector even though I own many many knives, but each was bought for a purpose or to replace one that failed at it's intended purpose.
Like I said before, this one is replacing an over-hyped Green Beret by Chris Reeves. The piece of garbage snapped when I was prying a stuck pelican case open. Thankfully I got it used at a decent price. Don't get me wring, the knife had it's good points. It held an edge for a long time. It just wasn't good for anything besides cutting. I need a tool.
