i really like both movements. theres no way i would ever take an auto to work, thats just me, i prefer to have my g-shock or pathfinder for that. but i just love the mechanics of a auto. i dont know... theres just something about wearing an auto that i cant really explain.

I agree. You will never see a Casio selling in the U.S. for that price though. Casio has a stigma of being a "cheap" watch stateside. They sell the same technology (some of it at least) under the name Oceanus in the states to get around the stigma. They don't look near as tough as G-Shocks though. And they are not rated for impact either. Dress watches.

I feel ya. It's like having an old car. Something about carburetors and butterfly intakes. I like the idea they can machine things that small with all the intricate movements inside.
