I ordered a dogfather sheath a few days ago and am wondering if it takes a few weeks to be shipped like the knives or do they ship right away since they dont have to make any?

Sneaky, I would guess that the sheath should ship pretty quickly as they will want to get as much done as possible before Blade. You could always send a PM or e-mail to Renee to find out for sure.

Hmmm...guess I should have thought to check the online store for a sheath for the DF. Sneaky, did you go with kydex or cordura? Gotta figure out one for myself here.

I ordered the Cordura DF sheath and it came in a week.

I went with the cordura sheath. The belt loop on the kydex is too low so the handle sticks into my side, and I want the handle to not be damaged from taking it in and out of the kydex. Ireash did they send you an e-mail with tracking # or anything? Cause I ordered it apr 29 and only got the paypal reciept e-mailed to me.

Relax Sneaky,it'll be there before you know it. I got mine in 3 or 4 days.It fits the BWM also. +1 on the cordura.Way more versatile than the kydex. When I ordered mine there were no knives in the store, now there are,so they are busier.

I think they are waiting for a new batch of cordura. Renee told me they would be 2 weeks out.

I like the cordura as well. I have a Jared kydex for my weiner and I DO like kydex but I got something in the sheath and got some longitudinal(?) scratches on the blade. No Biggie as it's a user, but still. I think the cordura with the inserts won't be as prone to scratch.
